It is based on the love story of a couple spanning 25 years, told through the lens of their spunky teenage daughter – Aisha Chaudhary, who was diagnosed with a Pulmonary fibrosis(It is a Lung disease that occur when lung tissue is damage).

Worked by writer-director Shonali Bose, The Sky is Pink has been in news ever since the trailer was dropped and it got millions of views on social media. The film hit headlines for Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who's entry comes in bollywood after almost 3 year(This is the first chilli news). She is paired alongside Farhan Akhtar with whom she had a brief stint in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

Other casts include Zaira Wasim, Rohit Saraf and Brian Nathan.

The film is closely based on the true story of Aisha Chaudhary, a teenager who had pulmonary fibrosis(type of lungs disease) and whose loving parents dedicated their lives to helping her survive.

The movie is a real biography of a family that had to struggle a lot due to their daughter, Aisha’s lung disease, but never gave up.

Farhan and Priyanka play the characters of two people who fall in love with each other but the letter gets accidentally pregnant. They decide to get married and raise the child together. Everything was going very smooth for them until they come across a danger, a deadly lung disease that their daughter is suffering from. This create a huge mentally and physically disturbance between the simple and happy family and the parents start playing the blaming each other.

Even after all this, the family never gives up. This is the main plot of the film and it is based on a true story between the parents and there daughter.

The trailer shows that ‘The Sky Is Pink’ has a gripping story and it proves to be true to its work by gathering such a huge amount of views in the first seven hours. People seem to be very excited about the movie and can’t wait to experience such a compelling tale of love and family.
